Role Description


The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning, maximizing sales, and delivering excellent customer service. This role involves managing staff, maintaining inventory, meeting sales targets, and ensuring adherence to company policies and brand standards.

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Manager

Upto 30K + Upto 25K Monthly Incentive


1. Sales & Business Development

  • Drive store sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve sales.
  • Analyze sales reports and suggest corrective actions.

2. Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through service excellence.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

3. Store Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and stock management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain store hygiene, visual merchandising, and brand standards.

4. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and develop store staff.
  • Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide coaching/feedback.
  • Build a motivated and high-performing sales team.

5. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, and reduce shrinkage.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers for smooth supply chain.

6. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales and operational reports.
  • Track KPIs like sales per square foot, conversion ratio, and average bill value.
  • Manage expenses, budgets, and ensure profitability.


Requirement

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of retail management systems and MS Office.
