Job Description

As a Sales Strategy & Execution professional, your role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies to increase the market share of contact lenses. Your key responsibilities will include: - Meeting or exceeding sales targets for lenses, including both prescription and non-prescription products (Clear and Color). - Monitoring the competitive landscape and adjusting strategies to stay ahead of industry trends. - Working closely with Lenskart stores to increase revenue share of Aqualens. In the aspect of Market Expansion & Relationship Management, you will be required to: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with Optoms, Store Managers, Area Operations Managers, and Zonal Managers. - Develop and execute strategies to expand the brand's footprint in both existing and new markets. - Monitor customer feedback and collaborate with the marketing and customer service teams to address concerns and improve customer satisfaction. For Product Knowledge & Education, your tasks will include: - Promoting and educating clients and customers about the advantages and technical aspects of the lens products. - Providing sales training for store managers and optoms to ensure they are well-informed about product features, benefits, and applications. - Keeping abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the contact lens industry. Sales Forecasting & Reporting will be a crucial part of your responsibilities, involving: - Preparing and presenting sales forecasts and performance reports to upper management. - Tracking and analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities. - Utilizing CRM tools to track and report on key performance metrics, including sales volume, revenue, and customer acquisition. In terms of Promotions & Marketing Support, you will collaborate with the marketing team to: - Develop promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing collateral. - Assist in the execution of trade shows, industry events, and other promotional activities to increase product awareness and drive sales. - Support the sales team with necessary materials and resources to drive successful sales initiatives. Operational Efficiency is also a key area of focus, where you will: - Work closely with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product deliveries and inventory management. - Monitor sales order processes to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. - Identify and address any operational inefficiencies that may affect sales or customer experience. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Optometry, or a related field (preferred). - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the lens, optical, or healthcare industry. - Strong knowledge of lens products, optical technologies, and industry trends. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build long-term partnerships. - Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable insights. - Proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
