Key responsivities

Sales and Business Development

• Drive sales performance and achieve monthly/annual revenue targets.
• Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Store Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the textile retail store.
• Ensure smooth functioning of billing, stock management, and customer service.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store SOPs.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for stock replenishment.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and manage store staff, including sales executives and floor managers.
• Set clear targets for the team and monitor their performance.
• Motivate staff to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and sales performance.

Customer Experience

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle escalations and resolve complaints effectively.
• Implement customer loyalty programs and retention strategies.

Inventory and Merchandising

• Manage stock levels, monitor shrinkage, and prevent pilferage.
• Plan and execute visual merchandising to enhance customer engagement.
• Coordinate in-store promotions, offers, and seasonal sales.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare sales and performance reports for management review.
• Monitor expenses, manage budgets, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Handle cash flow and ensure accurate reconciliation of sales transactions.

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.

5–10 years of experience in retail textiles with store management background.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

In-depth knowledge of textile products, fabrics, and fashion trends.

Proficiency in MS Office and retail management/POS software.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
