We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Project Manager to lead and execute the establishment of a new restaurant. This role is pivotal in turning a conceptual vision into a thriving operational reality, overseeing every aspect from site selection to daily management.
• Location Search & Finalization:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify suitable sites for the restaurant.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize optimal location based on footfall, accessibility, and budget parameters.
• End-to-End Setup:
- Develop the restaurant concept, layout, and desired ambience in coordination with stakeholders.
- Oversee design, furnishing, and setup processes—vendor selection, décor, equipment procurement, and fit-outs.
• Staff & Chef Recruitment:
- Create staffing plans, frame job descriptions, and lead open recruitments for chefs, kitchen staff, front-of-house, and support personnel.
- Set induction and training protocols for new hires.
• Budgeting & Financials:
- Prepare comprehensive budgets covering setup, operations, and contingency funds.
- Manage initial spending, cost optimization, and financial reporting to management.
• Inventory & Supply Chain:
- Establish supplier relationships and inventory systems for food, beverages, and supplies.
- Implement inventory tracking and reorder processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Daily Operations & Management:
- Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant management—service quality, hygiene, compliance, and customer engagement.
- Take ownership of restaurant targets, guest satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Bookkeeping & Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of all financial and operational records.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Stakeholder Liaison:
- Coordinate with NGO management and external agencies as required.
- Ensure all legal, FSSAI, and government compliance for the restaurant.
• Education: Minimum Graduate; degree/diploma in Hotel Management or relevant specialization strongly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience in the food & beverage/hospitality industry, preferably with hands-on experience in new restaurant launches or large-scale F&B projects.
• Skills & Attributes:
- Proven project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Detailed knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with compliance and hygiene standards in the F&B sector.
• Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Marathi, English, and Hindi (read, write, and speak).
• Other Requirements:
- Must possess a two-wheeler with valid driving license for visiting sites and vendors.
- Candidates from the local area or with local networks preferred.
