Role Summary

The Hotel Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of the hotel’s dining facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient service, and profitability. This role blends leadership, operational oversight, and customer service excellence in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management
  • Supervise front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant operations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service staff, and hotel departments.
  • Staff Leadership
  • Hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve service standards.
  • Customer Experience
  • Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through attentive service and quality food.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Financial Oversight
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue.
  • Track inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain compliance with local regulations and hotel policies.
  • Menu & Promotion Coordination
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu planning and presentation.
  • Support marketing initiatives and seasonal promotions to boost restaurant traffic.

Skills & Qualifications

Requirement Details

Education

Degree/diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Culinary Arts

Experience

3–5 years in restaurant or hospitality management

Leadership

Strong team management and conflict resolution skills

Financial Acumen

Budgeting, cost control, and revenue forecasting

Communication

Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills

Tech Proficiency

Familiarity with POS systems, inventory software, and reservation tools

Experience: Previous hotel-related experience 5 -8 years desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
