Job Description

Role Overview

The Hotel Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and forging strategic partnerships. This role blends sales, marketing, and operational insight to enhance profitability and brand visibility across hospitality segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Partnerships
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships with hotel operators, property managers, and travel platforms.
  • Conduct due diligence and support contract finalization and onboarding processes.
  • Sales & Revenue Optimization
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Monitor booking rates, review scores, and revenue targets to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Market Research & Lead Generation
  • Research new sales leads and market trends.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Maintain close liaison with key accounts through regular communication and visits.
  • Handle client queries, complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Cross-Department Coordination
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and finance teams to align business development efforts.
  • Ensure smooth execution of promotions, events, and client requirements.
  • Reporting & Forecasting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting for the Sales & Marketing department.

Skills & Qualifications

Requirement Details

Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Hospitality

Experience

3+ years in hotel business development; 10+ years in hospitality or travel

Industry Knowledge

Familiarity with OTA platforms, property management, and revenue systems

Communication & Negotiation

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Project Management

Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders

Compliance & Legal Awareness

Understanding of hospitality regulations and contract management

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in short-term or vacation rental industry
  • Service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions

Experience: Previous hotel-related experience 5-10 years desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
