Restaurant General Manager

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and cleanliness
• Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures
• Manage restaurant finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to increase revenue
• Analyse sales and performance metrics to improve efficiency and profitability
• Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork and employee engagement

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of restaurant management software and POS systems
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions
• Understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
