Resource Planner

JD :Role Overview

The Resource Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure effective utilization and on-time delivery. The role works closely with Project Managers, Delivery Heads, and HR to maintain accurate allocation data and support forecasting of resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities1. Resource Allocation & Tracking

• Manage end-to-end staffing based on project requirements, skills, and availability.
• Maintain updated HRMS allocation data and track roll-offs for smooth transitions.

2. Coordination with Project Managers

• Work with PMs for requirement updates, extensions, and confirmations.
• Escalate delays, gaps, or mismatches in allocation to RMG Leads.

3. Demand & Supply Management

• Maintain visibility of available resources and upcoming bandwidth.
• Support forecasting by identifying potential shortages, surpluses, and skill gaps.

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare weekly & monthly reports on allocation, availability, and utilization.
• Document allocation changes, roll-offs, and new requirements per RMG standards.

5. Process Compliance & Governance

• Ensure allocations align with SOW timelines, budgets, and policies.
• Support timesheet accuracy, HRMS updates, and audit processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Resource Planning, PMO, or Workforce Management.
• Strong in Excel and Google Sheets (Pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Strong hands-on experience with HRMS/RMG tools for allocation management, tracking, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
