The Print Solutions Division produces inks, varnishes and printing auxiliaries for packaging, commercial and newspaper printing. The Chemicals Division produces specialty chemicals such as resins, laminating adhesives, pigments and additives at its plants in India. About the Role : To improve the activity in technology transfer, R&D coordination, process development, process improvement & optimization. Responsibilities : Technology Transfer Adoption of R&D laboratory process & Safe, efficient technology transfer to Pilot & commercial plant. Cost estimation and feasibility study for new products to existing plants. Engineering calculations for Scale up, equipment sizing, Hydraulic calculation etc. Support to internal and external associates. Process development, process improvement & optimization Technology transfer, process design & process trouble shooting at Pilot & Commercial scale. Identification, evaluation, selection of new technology. Participation in safety study. Documentation R&D demonstration, Technology Transfer document preparation for scaling up the design process. Product mapping in existing plant, Product costing Utility sizing, scale up calculation, equipment sizing etc. Qualifications : B. Tech chemical Engineering Required Skills : Coordination with R&D chemist, Pilot plant team & operation team. Validation batches at Pilot & commercial scale & process trouble shooting. Providing chemical engineering solution for process improvement. Evolution of new technology to enhance reaction kinetics and unit operations. Participation in HAZOP study & provide chemical engineering expert for improvement in Safety. Custodians for all Technology documentation. Preparation of different documentation like SOP, P&ID, Calculations, Scaleup trials data etc. Preferred Skills : Experience in technology transfer and process optimization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
