Job Summary / Purpose: As the Relationship Manager at YaStudy , you will be the primary face of the company , entrusted with counselling prospective students, converting leads into admissions, and managing relationships throughout the student journey. Your key responsibility is to empower students with clear guidance in their higher education aspirations abroad, while also introducing them to YaStudy’s transformative soft skills programs that build globally relevant competencies. This role demands excellent counselling abilities , structured sales acumen, documentation discipline, and a strong focus on customer experience. Key Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Student Counselling (Walk-in & Online): Conduct in-depth one-on-one counselling sessions using the DREAMS framework to understand student aspirations, constraints, and goals. Customize academic pathways based on destination preference, academic background, financial feasibility, and career intent. Present YaStudy's abroad admission services and soft skill development programs persuasively and empathetically. Handle queries with patience and provide reassurance about academic, financial, and cultural concerns related to studying abroad. Respond promptly to online inquiries (within 15 minutes during work hours) and maintain CRM-based records of all engagements. 2. Conversion of Leads to Clients: Follow structured consultative selling techniques to convert leads into enrolled clients. Utilize social proof, testimonials, university brochures, and case studies to reinforce trust. Share customized brochures, SOP formats, application timelines, and financial options. Apply follow-up strategies with a minimum of 3–4 touchpoints per prospect . 3. Client Onboarding & Documentation: Collect and verify client documentation including ID proofs, academic records, SOPs, and letters of recommendation. Ensure smooth onboarding via CRM data entry and checklist tracking. Collaborate with the documentation and admissions teams for timely and accurate application processing. Guide clients on payment structure and coordinate closely with the accounts team for invoicing and receipts. 4. Internal Coordination: Maintain active communication with internal teams (admissions, documentation, visa, finance, and travel). Flag any delays, client dissatisfaction, or misalignment for rapid resolution. Track and update the progress of each client across stages (application, visa, onboarding). 5. Client Relationship Management: Act as the single point of contact for clients until their successful transition abroad. Build long-term relationships through regular updates, trust-based engagement, and transparency. Encourage student testimonials, alumni referrals, and ambassador opportunities. 6. Daily Reporting & CRM Management: Submit accurate EOD (End of Day) reports highlighting: Walk-ins handled Follow-ups made Conversions achieved Payments received Documentation completed CRM updates Issues/escalations Attend daily huddles and weekly review meetings with the reporting manager. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Psychology, International Relations, or related field. Minimum 1–3 years of counselling or admission advisory experience (preferably in overseas education or ed-tech). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Strong organizational, documentation, and CRM management abilities. Professional demeanor with empathy, active listening, and relationship-building skills. Desired Qualifications: Certification or training in Career Counselling or Study Abroad Consulting . Prior experience with CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot. Working knowledge of visa application processes for major destinations (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Europe). Familiarity with soft skills, career coaching, or professional development programs. Ability to speak additional regional languages (e.g., Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu) is a plus. Why Join YaStudy?
