Job Title: AGM - RMBD(Relationship Management & Business Development)

Industry: Railway Industry


Desired Qualification

B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering + MBA in Sales & Marketing

ERP - SAP HANA Knowledge with BI Analytics is MUST

Experience: 15 Years



Key Responsibilities:

Tendering and Estimation:

  1. Lead the estimation process for Railway Civil/Composite, EPC, and BOQ tenders.
  2. Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals.
  3. Conduct civil quantity and cost estimation.
  4. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to arrange quotations.
  5. Perform rate analysis and ensure accuracy in quantity and design coordination with consultants.


Site Surveys and Market Analysis:

  1. Conduct site surveys and prepare comprehensive site survey reports.
  2. Analyze competition and market environment to recommend target winning prices.
  3. Continuously research new products and alternative solutions to enhance project design and efficiency.


Contracts and Cost Management:

  1. Lead the contracts and cost management function across projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on contract performance and development.
  3. Manage the tendering and procurement process for contractors and suppliers, leading to effective shortlisting and appointment.
  4. Establish controls and procedures for procurement, pre/post-contract management, cash flow, payments, and associated commercial activities.


Financial and Operational Analysis:

  1. Review budget proposals, conduct comparative analysis, and present recommendations for approval.
  2. Lead financial and operational analysis to support strategic plans and operating budgets.
  3. Prepare forecasts, analyze trends, and present results related to project performance.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on planning, consolidation, and reporting issues.


Contract Negotiation and Management:

  1. Propose and support the negotiation of contracts and change orders, focusing on timely and appropriate adjustments.
  2. Manage a variety of contracts/subcontracts in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and contract requirements.
  3. Escalate critical contract issues to ensure timely resolution.

  1. Strong leadership and direction skills, with the ability to manage internal and external parties.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  3. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Ability to conduct market research and recommend strategic solutions.
  5. Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
  6. Experience in the railway industry and familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
