Job Description

This role offers an opportunity for growth and technical skill development in the thriving field of business intelligence with primary focus on regulatory reporting. Regulatory Reporting Analyst will become a go-to person for a variety of business requests and will be expected to come up with the new initiatives for automation and reporting processes improvements.


Main Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Generate ad-hoc and recurring regulatory reports within established timelines;
  • Assess, develop, and maintain controls for regulatory reporting, including data reconciliations and validations;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of regulatory reporting;
  • Review, refine and document business requirements and processes;
  • Drive efficiency by designing and delivering tool enhancement and automation;
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions;
  • Analyze and test new data sources for availability and quality, and integrate with internal sources;
  • Closely work with Data warehouse and the rest of the Data Science and Analytics department: Data Science and Data warehouse teams.

Requirements for the Position:

  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence/data analytics;
  • Strong SQL skills;
  • Some experience with Python;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, maintain confidentiality and extract actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ownership of quality control processes and error resolution in data analysis;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills;
  • Proactiveness;
  • Project management skills to effectively prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications;

Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including formulas, pivot tables.
  • Some exposure to regulatory data/ audits/ tax related processes;
  • Some knowledge in statistics, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.;
  • Tableau Experience (creating or using);
