Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve regional revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales team members to consistently deliver on performance metrics.
  • Drive adoption of payment solutions and fintech products across merchants, banks, NBFCs, e-commerce, and institutional clients.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key decision-makers in banks, enterprises, government bodies, and ecosystem partners.
  • Negotiate and close strategic deals with large customers and channel partners.
  • Build and expand channel sales networks to accelerate market penetration.
  • Identify new market opportunities and execute go-to-market plans for emerging fintech offerings.
  • Monitor sales performance dashboards, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Risk teams to ensure solution positioning and execution consistency.
  • Stay up to date with RBI regulations, digital payments innovations, and fintech trends, translating insights into sales strategy.
  • Build referral and alliance programs with influential partners to expand reach.
  • Represent the company at regional industry forums, events, and networking platforms

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B solution sales, with at least 4+ years in fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven track record in merchant acquiring, payment solutions, or BFSI sales.
  • Experience in channel sales development and managing partner-driven growth.
  • Strong exposure to enterprise and institutional sales with large deals.
  • Ability to set up processes, SOPs, and performance metrics for scalable sales operations.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performance sales teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
  • Educational background: MBA/Engineer/Graduate in Business, Technology, or related field.
  • Language proficiency: English, Hindi, and at least one local language.
