Regional Sales Manager –

Role & Responsibilities

 Develop and execute the company’s regional sales strategy for innerwear and apparel across

assigned states/zones.

 Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Sales Officers, ensuring

consistent achievement of sales targets.

 Build and strengthen a robust distributor and retailer network to maximize market penetration,

product availability, and brand visibility.

 Drive primary and secondary sales growth, ensuring effective inventory management and timely

payment collections.

 Conduct market analysis to track consumer preferences, competitor activities, and industry trends,

and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.

 Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure smooth product

launches, promotions, and distribution planning.

 Prepare and review regional sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards for senior

management.

 Implement effective training and performance management for ASMs and field staff to build strong

execution capabilities.

 Represent the company in regional trade meets, distributor conferences, and other key business

forums.


Experience

8 to 12 years of proven sales experience in innerwear, lingerie, hosiery

industry.

 Strong exposure to regional-level sales management, handling multi-state operations and

distributor-led models.

Prior experience with reputed brands (e.g., Rupa, Lux, Dollar, Dixcy, Amul, Jet, Jockey, etc.) is highly

desirable.

 Demonstrated success in leading and scaling sales operations at a regional level.

 Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with data-driven decision-making.

 Ability to travel extensively across multiple states/zones.

 Highly motivated, self-driven, and result-oriented professional.
