Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage assigned Wholesale Distributors (WD) monitor and review their day-to-day activities
Ensuring timely placement of orders by assigned WDs vis--vis their budgets
Continual monitoring of Accounts Receivable of assigned WDs
Develop a strong understanding of how to segment customers based on business practices/needs (tactical and strategic) and identify resources required to support opportunities specific to Customer type
Provide insights for development of Customer Value Propositions - uses knowledge to position products in line with Benchmarked Competition
Maintain knowledge of Distributor's operational practices, Customer base, supply channels' financial health and exposure in the Market
Scanning the environment on an ongoing basis, understanding the changing latent needs of the customers, advise changes which have taken place in competitor’s products and policies which are likely to impact our sales
Regular market visits; reporting inputs from customers/resellers/printers/publishers/converters as per the prescribed periodicity
Market mapping of products and Customer Profiling and monitor Market Operating prices of identified grades in the market place
Work closely with Corporate and Order Management to enable timely Order Servicing
