Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Proven Sales & Marketing expertise in the Agri Sector (Seeds/Crop Protection/Fertilizers).
Strong Leadership, Negotiation, and Communication skills.
Deep Understanding of Agriculture, Crops, and Agronomy.
Strategic Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Adaptability.
Customer-Centric & Result-Oriented Mindset.

Sales & Business Development:

Achieve/Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the region.
Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies and business plans.
Identify new market opportunities and expand reach within the farming community.
Drive sales through distributors, dealers, and retail networks.

Team Leadership & Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Managers/Field Officers/Executives.
Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, conduct training, and provide feedback.

Market &

Organize field demonstrations, farm visits, and farmer awareness programs.
Build strong brand presence and ensure product awareness among farmers.
Champion product performance through side-by-side trials and technical guidance.

Channel & Customer

Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, and large farmers.
Ensure efficient stock management, timely order booking, and prompt collections.

Operations & Reporting:

Manage regional P&L, budgets, and business planning.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales, market feedback, and forecasts to senior management.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and government regulations.
