Role Overview

Regional Head of Sales


We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in high-ticket enterprise sales, a strong command of international B2B negotiations, and the ability to effectively articulate the value of a tech-enabled solution to a traditionally conservative industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive

    end-to-end sales cycle

    for all Navguide products, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Build and

    maintain strong client relationships

    with ship operators, managers, and training providers.
  • Engage with

    C-suite decision makers

    in shipping and maritime organisations.
  • Conduct

    product demos

    , presentations, and negotiate high-value contracts.
  • Represent Navguide at

    industry conferences, exhibitions, and forums

    in India and abroad.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to refine pitches and respond to Quotation requests.
  • Actively manage leads, opportunities, and pipelines using

    CRM software

    .
  • Prepare

    sales forecasts, reports, and insights

    for leadership on market trends and client needs.
  • Ensure

    consultative selling

    , positioning our products and services as value-driven solutions for inspection readiness and operational excellence.


Required Skills & Competencies


  • Excellent communication skills in English

    – written and spoken, suited to the global client base.
  • Proven experience (4–5 years)

    in

    international B2B SaaS or Tech Sales

    - achievements in

    high-ticket sales

    .
  • Strong negotiation and

    solution-selling skills

    , preferably in enterprise software or maritime technology.
  • Comfortable with

    CRM tools

    (HubSpot/Salesforce or equivalent) and digital sales workflows.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client meetings, industry events, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work across multicultural, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to understand client pain points and translate them into tailored solutions.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in

    maritime technology, inspections, or training software

    is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to

    shipping industry networks

    (operators, managers, classification societies, regulators).
  • Demonstrated success in selling

    compliance, safety, or inspection-related products

    .
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, churn, etc.) and enterprise B2B pipelines.
