Designation—Regional Manager

Department—Operations

Location: Rangajan, Assam

Roles and Responsibilities

• Adhere to the skill livelihood program training framework and policies, and guidelines.
• Responsible for the implementation of all the projects based in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana and Tamil Nadu.
• Provide inspired leadership and be responsible ensuring agreed deliverables of the projects across
• Ensure due diligence as per project agreement/SLAs/MOUs
• Schedule regular meetings and monitor and guide the state team for better implementation of the program
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures as per SOP
• Coordinate with lead/manager-related departments (placements/MIS/finance/partnerships/human resources/communications learning and development) to ensure project deliverables are executed as stipulated.
• Encourage organization culture that promotes best performance and high morale
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning,, and auditing.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to determine values, mission,, and plan for short- and long-term impact.
• Ensure all legal and regulatory documents and monitor statutory compliances.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities of the organizations.
• Ensure and maintain rapport and submission of reports to the partners and management, as and when required
• Build alliances and partnerships with other stakeholders and organizations
• Delegate the responsibility during the long absence of a team member
• Ensure the smooth handover and knowledge transfer to new team member

Qualification and Experience:

• PG in Development Studies / Public Administration / Rural Management / Social Work Core Academics;
• At least seven years of relevant experience in the development field, preferably in the skill development sectors,, with emphasis on project design, execution and documentation;
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive, professional relationships with government counterparts, donors, civil society and other stakeholders;
• High capacity for organization and coordination, as well as an ability to work with a high degree of independence in a team environment.

Core Competencies

• Fluency in English (both oral and written) with computing skills. Knowledge of a local language is an asset.
• Ability to work in a cross-cutting team and with with a wide variety of stakeholders within and outside the government is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, administrative,, and presentation skills.
• Good experience in human resource-related management.
• Effective leadership and facilitation skills
