Purpose/Objective


    The Regional Lead B2B Business Development is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities within the region. This role involves leading the process of prospecting, qualifying leads, engaging with potential customers, and capturing contracts to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Lead Generation - Proactively prospect and qualify new leads for the organization's products and services. - Utilize various lead generation tools and techniques to identify potential business opportunities. Lead Identification - Follow up on leads generated from marketing initiatives or outbound calling to target customers. - Assess the potential of leads to become qualified business opportunities. Customer Engagement - Engage with target leads to understand their needs and determine their potential as qualified leads. - Establish strong relationships with potential customers to facilitate business development. Pipeline Development - Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential leads. - Contribute to the strategic direction of pipeline development efforts. CRM Management - Maintain accurate and detailed information on leads within the Client Relationship Management system. - Ensure that the CRM is utilized effectively to track progress and manage business development activities. Contract Capture - Lead efforts to secure new contracts or re-compete for existing contracts, contributing to the organization's growth. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful contract capture. Strategic Planning - Identify potential customers, conduct competitive assessments, and collaborate with teaming suppliers. - Participate in pricing strategies and bid proposal activities to enhance the organization's market position. Ethical Standards - Uphold the organization's commitment to integrity and ethics in all business development activities. - Guide decisions with ethical reasoning, considering the broader impact on the organization and stakeholders. Policy Adherence - Enforce organizational policies to maintain consistency and alignment with corporate objectives. - Contribute to policy development by providing feedback based on business development experiences. Legal and Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all business development activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies. - Stay informed of changes in the regulatory environment and adjust strategies accordingly. Process Improvement - Continuously identify opportunities for improving business development processes. - Implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation and customer engagement.

Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Background - Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Sales, Marketing, or a related field Work Experience - 5+ years of experience in business development, sales or related field with a proven track record of lead generation and business growth Industry Knowledge - Proficient in managing B2B accounts, implementing sales growth strategies, and providing customer service within the construction or cement industry
