Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Drive and monitor overall sales performance across the state to achieve or exceed targets. Develop state-specific sales strategies aligned with national goals. Forecast and set individual targets for sales representatives and ensure area-wise target achievement. Team Management: Allocate territories to team members and ensure optimal coverage of the region. Monitor, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity and achieve targets. Conduct regular reviews, training, and performance evaluations. Market Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities, including untapped markets and segments. Establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including school principals, administrators, and educational institutions. Drive the acquisition of passive and potential customers swiftly and effectively. Customer Engagement & Retention: Build long-term relationships with existing customers ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. Handle client escalations and ensure resolution with a customer-first approach. Post-sale follow-ups to ensure product adoption and feedback collection. Marketing & Brand Visibility: Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement localized campaigns and events. Work on brand-building activities to increase product penetration and recall. Business Analysis & Reporting: Compile and analyze sales figures and market trends to inform strategy. Provide regular reports to senior management on performance, challenges, and opportunities. Stay updated on competitors activities and market developments. Requirements: Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the education, publishing, or ed-tech sector, with at least 3 to 4 years in a leadership role.
