Position Summary: We are looking for a Retail Area Business Manager (ABM) to manage and expand our retail pharma operations in the Mumbai region. The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 4–5 Territory Business Managers (TBMs), ensuring consistent retail sales growth, and driving brand presence across key markets. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of 4–5 TBMs handling retail chemist and distributor networks across assigned territories. Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and implement field-level retail strategies to maximize product visibility and movement. Identify high-potential chemist outlets, pharmacy chains, and distributor tie-ups. Monitor field activities and coach TBMs for better productivity and retailer engagement. Ensure timely collections, stock movement, and product availability at retail points. Build and maintain relationships with key channel partners (chemists, stockists, distributors). Track competitor activities, pricing, and schemes to stay competitive in the retail market. Coordinate with the HO marketing, logistics, and finance teams for seamless operations. Submit field reports, sales analytics, and performance summaries regularly. Candidate Profile: Graduate in Science/Pharmacy (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred). 4–7 years of relevant experience in retail pharmaceutical sales. Minimum 1–2 years of team-handling experience (ABM or equivalent level). Strong knowledge of Mumbai’s retail pharma landscape. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to drive field execution with discipline and ownership. Willing to travel extensively across Mumbai and neighboring regions. The ideal candidate must come with a strong background in managing relationships with hospitals, nursing homes and institutional clients in an around Delhi. This role will primarily cover Delhi and surrounding regions, with coordination with the Mumbai-Bandra head office. Key Responsibilities: 1.
