Position Overview:

The Lead – Talent Acquisition will drive the end-to-end recruitment process for technical and leadership roles within the Metals & Mining vertical. This role requires a deep understanding of mining operations, project development, and engineering functions, ensuring timely hiring of high-caliber professionals to meet the organization’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for corporate, project site, and technical positions across the metals and mining business units.
• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and manpower plans.
• Partner with business heads and functional leaders to understand workforce needs and define role requirements.
• Manage sourcing channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and niche mining positions (e.g., Geologists, Mining Engineers, Metallurgists, Drilling Managers, Project Engineers).
• Drive campus recruitment and lateral hiring initiatives.
• Ensure best practices in candidate experience, diversity hiring, and employer branding.
• Oversee recruitment analytics, reporting, and compliance with internal policies and labor laws.
• Mentor and guide junior recruiters within the HR team.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners on workforce planning and succession initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably within Metals, Mining, or Heavy Engineering industries.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, exploration, EPC, and plant-based recruitment.
• Proven track record of hiring for senior and critical technical roles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ATS systems, HR analytics, and MS Office Suite.
