JOB DESCRIPTION : This position reports to the Department Head and interface with other departments in the Company for the Project and other assign work. Experience : 6 -8 years in onshore/offshore Pipelines & piping designing, process, and detail engineering. Essential Qualification : Graduate Engineer with Chemical/ Mechanical Electronic & telecommunication /Production Engineering or equivalent. IT and software skills : Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office & Microsoft Project and possess extensive skills in oral and written communication. Pipe Sim simulation, Pipe net, Hysis. Auto CAD / Sketch up - Desirable. JOB SUMMARY  Design of onshore/offshore pipeline systems with hydraulic calculations.  Design Basis: - Conceptual Engineering Design, FEED Engineering & detail engineering.  Functions as Lead Engineer in overall discipline coordination.  Independently evaluate, organize and priorities work which is normally subject to internal checking and approval.  Pipeline sizes calculation, selection of material, selection of the pumps  Surge analysis, buckling analysis & stress calculations and analysis.  Material Lifting analysis reviews.  Review of the installation procedures, design calculations, analysis review.  Co-ordinate technical activities performed inside or outside the Company.  Development of Work Breakdown Structure/Activities List  Preparation, Update and Maintenance of Project Schedule, DDBs, MDRs ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Responsible for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to DO, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, CTR input, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.  Performs Inter-discipline & discipline QA/QC and engineering compliance checks on all work performed by themselves or junior engineers within the group.  Completion of conceptual scopes of work and preliminary designs.  Checks and coordinates all ongoing and completed work performed by CAD Designers.  Review and management of project and general specifications, engineering procedures and engineering policy.  Responsible for all work completed in his/her section  Prepares the documentation for all projects and ensures that it is properly archived.  Responsible for the training and development of engineers in his/her section  Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.  Team Work. REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES Competencies  Diverse working experience in project management, conceptual and detailed design, and construction.  Knowledge of codes and standards related to the pipelines, process and basic structures  Basic knowledge about the electrical standards, HSE requirements.  Discipline Work Plan (Scope, QA/QC, etc)  Knowledge of Interdisciplinary Work Processes/Interface/Deliverables Skills  Thorough knowledge of oil field engineering and construction methods including its practice and procedures.  Familiarity with codes, standards, regulations, and practices applicable to the design and construction of onshore and offshore structures/production facilities  Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills  Possesses advanced computer skills.  Time management skills.  Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES: • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and guidelines, including local, state, and federal requirements. Regularly review and update safety policies and procedures to reflect current best practices and legal requirements. • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace. Develop strategies and measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents or injuries • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels. Topics may include workplace safety procedures, emergency response protocols, hazard recognition, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) • Lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses. Identify root causes and contributing factors, and develop recommendations for corrective actions to prevent recurrence • Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Document findings and work with relevant stakeholders to address any identified deficiencies • Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization. Encourage employee participation in safety initiatives, committees, and programs • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures for various scenarios, including fire, chemical spills, medical emergencies, and natural disasters. Conduct drills and exercises to test emergency preparedness and response capabilities • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, training records, and safety committee meetings • Collaborate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies on safety-related matters. Communicate safety-related information, updates, and initiatives to employees and management FUNCTIONAL SKILLS: HSE systems and regulations, Workplace Safety, Process Safety Management, HSEF Performance monitoring, HSEF regulation, audits EXPERIENCE: Knowledge on certification requirements for a listed organization and exposure of implementing the same HSEF Qualification/certification would be an added advantage
