HR Executive Metal and Mining

As an HR Executive at our Metals & Mining operations in Lagos, Nigeria, you will play a crucial role in supporting the human resources function. Your responsibilities will include executing HR processes, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and enhancing talent acquisition and employee engagement aligned with the organization's objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for site and office roles. - Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new hires. - Maintain employee records and HRIS systems accurately. - Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws, expatriate regulations, and company policies. - Act as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances. - Support employee welfare, engagement initiatives, and performance management processes. - Coordinate training programs and maintain training records. - Assist in identifying skill gaps and supporting career development initiatives. - Assist expatriates with documentation and work permits. - Support HR reporting, MIS, and other administrative tasks as required. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in metals, mining, or heavy industry sectors. - Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR compliance requirements. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
