Job Description

The Receptionist at Airaavatha Hospital serves as the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is essential for providing excellent customer service, managing front-desk operations, coordinating appointments, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or directions.
Handle incoming calls and route them to appropriate departments.
Register patients, schedule appointments, and manage appointment calendars.
Maintain and update patient records in the hospitals management system.
Coordinate with medical and administrative staff for smooth patient flow.
Ensure the front desk area is neat, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Manage billing inquiries and direct patients to the billing department when necessary.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document handling.
Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Minimum 10+2; Diploma or Degree in Hospital Administration or relevant field preferred.
Experience:
1+ year in a hospital, clinic, or front office setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and hospital management software.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Polite, professional, and patient-centric attitude.
