Roles and Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s quality assurance strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control teams, providing clear direction and support to achieve performance objectives.
• Establish and maintain a culture of quality throughout the organization, advocating for quality in every aspect of the business.
• Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of quality standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, certifications (ISO, FDA, etc.), and customer requirements.

Quality Management System (QMS)

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent product quality and process improvement.
• Ensure that the QMS is aligned with regulatory and compliance standards, facilitating audits and inspections.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management (TQM).
• Analyze quality performance data and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the use of new technologies and techniques to enhance quality processes and product performance.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure the organization complies with all relevant industry standards, local, state, and federal regulations, and customer specifications.
• Stay current with changes in quality-related regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, FDA, etc.), ensuring the company adapts accordingly.
• Lead internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and corrective action plans in response to audit findings.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Develop and implement key quality metrics and KPIs to track and measure quality performance across departments.
• Regularly report on quality performance to senior management, providing insights on key issues, trends, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the timely and effective resolution of customer complaints, product defects, or non-conformances, taking ownership of major quality-related issues.

Team Development & Training

• Recruit, train, and develop quality management staff to ensure they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to support quality objectives.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members to foster professional growth and create a high-performing team.
• Conduct regular quality training and workshops for staff across various departments to raise awareness and improve quality standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record in leading quality teams and managing complex quality systems of the corrugation industry.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or equivalent are highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of corrugation industry-specific quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and act on data to improve quality.

Work Environment & Conditions:

• This role may require travel to manufacturing plants, suppliers, and customer sites for audits and inspections.
• The Manager of Quality will collaborate with various departments including R&D, manufacturing, production, and regulatory affairs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
