Quality – Leadership Role

Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Quality Control (IQC):

• Inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for quarantine, release, or rejection of materials.
• Maintain vendor quality records and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

In-Process Quality Control (IPQC):

• Monitor and control product quality during manufacturing and packaging processes.
• Conduct in-process checks and maintain documentation (BMR/BPR).
• Ensure adherence to process parameters and escalate deviations as needed.

Finished Goods (FG) Quality:

• Perform final quality checks and batch release evaluations.
• Verify Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and ensure batch compliance prior to dispatch.
• Oversee proper sampling, retention, and labeling practices.

Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI):

• Conduct audits for packaging, labeling, and product integrity before dispatch.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for timely and compliant product releases.

External Lab Testing Coordination:

• Liaise with NABL/FSSAI/AYUSH-approved external labs for specialized testing.
• Track and review test reports for compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of external test results.

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance:

• Manage all quality documentation including SOPs, test records, deviation reports, and CAPAs.
• Ensure compliance with GMP and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

Team Leadership & Training:

• Lead, train, and mentor the quality team.
• Instill a “Quality First” mindset throughout the organization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Solid understanding of QA/QC systems (IQC, IPQC, FG inspection, etc.)
• Knowledge of

  FSSAI

  , and

  AYUSH

  guidelines
• Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical testing methods
• Strong experience in documentation, SOP writing, and audits
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications:

• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc / B.Sc

  or equivalent in a relevant science discipline

• 6–8 years

  of relevant experience in Quality (preferably in

  Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, or FMCG

  )
