What will your job look like:
We are seeking a skilled
Quality Engineer (QE)
with experience in both manual and automation testing, specifically within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and compliance of healthcare software systems, working closely with developers, product managers, and regulatory teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and compliant applications.An Ideal Candidate will have:
Manual Testing
- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases for new features and regression testing.
- Perform functional, UI, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Execute test cases for EHR/EMR systems, patient portals, claims processing, or other healthcare workflows.
- Participate in user story grooming and requirements analysis to ensure testability.
Automation Testing
- Hands on experience in automation using C# required
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Maintain test frameworks and ensure scalable and reusable automation practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing required.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT systems, such as EHR/ EMR.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD/CPT coding).
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA or similar.
- Proficiency in C# programming language
- Agile and Scrum knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
- Experience with performance testing tools .
- Prior experience in healthcare payer/provider organizations or working with health tech products.
