Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Location: Pune

Position Overview

Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and designers to identify root causes of defects and ensure timely fixes.
  • Create and maintain test documentation to improve QA workflows.
  • Conduct manual testing and build automated test suites for faster release cycles.
  • Ensure usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
  • Track and report bugs using JIRA/Trello; manage testing cycles with TestRail or similar tools.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and release management practices.
  • Stay updated with QA frameworks, automation tools, and industry best practices.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of QA experience, preferably in a product-based company.
  • Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello).
  • Hands-on knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Passion for product quality, continuous improvement, and learning.
