Quality Assurance Engineer

Must have Skills: Playwright, TypeScript, Loadrunner /Jmeter

Purpose:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, your mission is to ensure the excellence of our business application software by implementing rigorous testing methodologies. Your responsibilities include contributing to the creation of a comprehensive test strategy, clarifying requirements, and fostering a team-wide commitment to quality. You will meticulously create and execute test plans, perform various verification activities, and actively contribute to test automation efforts.

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the creation of a test strategy

• Requirements clarification

• Help other team members understand common teams’ responsibility for the quality

• Create test schedule, test plan, and test cases

• Performance of all aspects of verification, including feature testing, functional testing, exploratory testing, regression testing, and bug fix verification

• Help automate tests

• Support customer test activities

• Contribute towards innovative ideas to develop best practices in quality assurance • Work effectively within a geographically distributed team

Your Qualification:

Experience: 2-4 Years

Skills: Playwright, TypeScript, Loadrunner/Jmeter (1 Engineer)

• Experience in manual testing on business application software (Sales / Distribution / Costing / Pricing are preferred)

• Strong testing skills (functional and exploratory testing)

• Basic ability to read and understand code with a focus on early defect prevention

• Experience in writing SQL queries

• Experience with Issue tracking/Project Management tools (JIRA, Rally etc.)

• Decent knowledge of a spreadsheet tool (Excel)

• Good knowledge of English

• Good communication and customer success orientation

• Common sense

• Being able to learn fast and play well in a team

• Experience with a source control tool (Git, Subversion etc.) is an advantage

• Experience with Agile is an advantage

• Experience with working in a geographically distributed team is advantage

• Test automation experience is an advantage

• Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language is advantage

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Software Quality domain

• At least theoretical experience with Agile methodology

• Good English skills (B2)
