This is a permanent role with a Seed funded product based startup in Healthcare domain, a valued client of Zyoin.

Role Overview

The

Quality Manager

leads, mentors, and manages the Quality Assurance team to maximize efficiency and uphold the highest quality standards for products and services. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance strategies, overseeing testing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a QA team to deliver outstanding service and results.
  • Provide training, support, and development opportunities to ensure high team performance and engagement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, give feedback, and identify areas for professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure product reliability.
  • Define and track key quality metrics to evaluate QA effectiveness across products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and emerging quality trends.
  • Ensure adequate test coverage and optimize the use of automated and manual testing techniques.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA tools, methodologies, and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality.
  • Work closely with Implementation and Client Services teams to align quality goals and requirements.
  • Communicate QA status, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and promptly.
  • Maintain QA documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.
  • Maintain and report quality metrics and dashboards to track performance trends.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • QA certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA required.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
