About the Role:

QA Test Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
• Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability and scalability.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and technologies in test automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 - 10 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools.
• Certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
