Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

You will be joining our Quality team to support the growth of our enterprise customer base. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality of our software by testing applications to meet user requirements. Your responsibilities will include utilizing both manual and automated testing techniques to identify and resolve issues, ultimately contributing to the success of our enterprise solutions. You should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and possess the following skills: Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement test strategies for application quality across multiple environments and platforms. - Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, or other modern automation frameworks. - Conduct exploratory and functional manual testing to validate application performance and user experience. - Establish automated regression test suites to catch defects early in the development cycle. - Identify, document, and prioritize bugs/issues in JIRA or similar defect-tracking tools and collaborate with developers for resolution. - Develop test scripts that integrate into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Execute performance, scalability, and load testing to ensure application reliability under heavy user loads. - Validate RESTful and GraphQL APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks. - Ensure web applications function properly across multiple browsers and devices. - Work closely with developers, product managers, and customer support teams to understand business requirements and user expectations. - Create and manage test data to support automated and manual test execution. - Maintain comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test execution reports for internal teams and stakeholders. Skills required: - 1-3 years of experience in QA Automation. - Strong understanding of manual and automated testing principles. - Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests. - Ability to perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing. - Hands-on experience in API testing. - Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-based applications. - Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools like JMeter or k6.
