Job Title: QA Architect Company: TestGrid Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our quality assurance processes, frameworks, and strategies across the organization. As a QA Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and effectiveness of our QA infrastructure and help teams deliver high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: ● Define and maintain the overall test architecture and QA strategy for complex, distributed software systems. ● Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks for functional, performance, and regression testing. ● Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure testability and continuous integration across all platforms. ● Introduce best practices in software quality engineering and advocate for a shift-left testing approach. ● Evaluate and recommend testing tools and technologies to improve quality and efficiency. ● Build metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track quality KPIs and testing effectiveness. ● Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers across the organization. ● Own the roadmap for quality assurance initiatives, including test automation, CI/CD pipeline integration, and non-functional testing (performance, security, etc.). ● Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to ensure test coverage and quality standards are maintained. ● Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement for issues identified in production environments. Required Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● 10+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in a QA Architect or Lead role. ● Proven expertise in building test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit). ● Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git). ● Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). ● Solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). ● Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. ● Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
