: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location
: BangaloreWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst role with strong knowledge in usability testing, customer experience testing, data validation, and process improvement. This role involves ensuring high-quality product in a manner that reflects the needs of the business users. This role involves managing end-to-end QA projects, mentoring junior analysts, driving automation initiatives, and ensuring the highest quality standards across our customer experience platforms.This position will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our digital, customer facing platforms and business applications Some of the products would span B2C and B2B platforms. This role will involve iregular prioritization, communication and collaboration with Product Data Specialist, Digital Asset Managers, Copy Writers, Web Producers and management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform all functions and responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Analyst.
- Manage assigned QA projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Accomplish both business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and ad-hoc requests effectively.
- Contribute to automation initiatives by identifying opportunities, building proof-of-concepts (POCs), or collaborating with automation teams.
- Create, update, and maintain QA documentation including best practices, test cases, error taxonomy, and product QA SOPs.
- Conduct peer reviews, ensure adherence to quality standards, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Mentor and guide junior QA analysts in test coverage, documentation quality, and error analysis.
- Identify and analyse error trends and report insights to stakeholders to drive improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance QA processes and deliver superior customer experience.
- Work closely and proactively with Product Data Specialists, Content Creators, Web Producers to determine the best way to increase the quality of our product page delivery.
- Develop expertise with Millerknoll’s internal applications and business processes specific to product data and content across the various platforms.
- Recommend improvements to existing Customer Experience QA procedures and methodologies and facilitate the adoption of approved modifications.
- Partner with Product Data Specialists, DAM Specialists, Content Creators, Copy Writing, and Web Producer representatives to review proposed resolutions for bugs/issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for new & existing customizations
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- A minimum of 4+ years of Software Industry experience.
- Experience in testing and / or supporting the implementation and continued maintenance of eCommerce or Brand websites.
- An ability to understand complex systems architecture to understand how product data and content QA fits into the big picture.
- An ability to “be the customer” and test across product categories to ensure the experience delivers based on how the customer discovers, research, and shops.
- Understanding Salesforce Commerce Cloud and NetSuite is a plus
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Playwright or similar tools.
- Ability to work with large data sets to identify different test scenarios.
- Ability to design, plan, build and execute test processes
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities to meet business needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
- Very strong organizational skills and attentiveness to detail
- Knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies and processes
- Relentless focus on ensuring the highest application quality, speed and stability for our users
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting ability
- Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal in English
