Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through manual and automated testing. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to build a seamless user experience and maintain high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, and test plans for web and mobile applications. Design and implement comprehensive test strategies based on project requirements and timelines. Perform functional, regression, performance, usability, and exploratory testing. Identify, prioritize, and report defects with clear and detailed descriptions. Track and manage defects throughout the software development lifecycle, from discovery to resolution. Conduct API testing and work with developers to debug backend issues. Ensure compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements. Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure seamless functionality. Work closely with product managers to define acceptance criteria and validate features before release. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall software quality and efficiency. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.). Proficiency in designing and executing test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile apps. Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, etc.). Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes. Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
