Job Description

We required QC Manager - for CRGO/ lamination production plant at ganapatpura, taluka Karjan,vadodara


Experience : Min of 10+ years in the CRGO/ lamination production plant as a Quality Manager


Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge of CRGO Production quality check:

o   Possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire CRGO lamination production process, covering all stages from L1 (raw materials) to L7 (finished products).

o   Oversee the quality control processes at each level, ensuring that quality standards are met consistently throughout the production cycle.

Manpower Handling and Team Development:

o   Manage and lead a team of quality control engineers and technicians, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and equipped with the knowledge required to carry out their duties effectively.

o   Conduct regular training programs and workshops for the team to ensure they are up-to-date on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.

o   Foster a culture of accountability and high performance, ensuring that the QC team is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Quality Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

o   Continuously monitor all aspects of the QA/QC process and ensure compliance with established quality standards and customer requirements.

o   Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives across the production process to eliminate defects, reduce rejections, and increase efficiency.

o   Ensure adherence to Kaizen principles and lead initiatives aimed at zero defects, breakdown reduction, and in-process cost reduction.

Documentation & Compliance:

o   Ensure that all quality documentation, including those related to BIS, ISO, NABL labs, INKRR, and EN NCR, are up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with applicable standards.

o   Maintain proper records of all quality audits, inspections, test results, and non-conformances.

o   Oversee the preparation and maintenance of quality manuals, procedures, and inspection protocols.

Customer Interaction & Satisfaction:

o   Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quality-related queries, complaints, and feedback.

o   Address customer concerns and ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly to meet customer satisfaction.

o   Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure that customer specifications are met and that any quality issues are resolved swiftly.

Audit Management & Defect Analysis:

o   Lead internal and external audits related to quality control and ensure that audit requirements are met.

o   Manage defect analysis processes, using statistical methods and other tools to identify the root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

o   Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, including regulatory bodies.

Statistical Analysis & Reporting:

o   Use statistical tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Pareto analysis to monitor quality performance and analyze defects.

o   Prepare reports on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, rejection rates, COPQ) and present findings to senior management.

o   Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to improve the quality system and reduce defects and costs.

Coordination with Other Departments:

o   Work closely with the production, engineering, and R&D teams to ensure that quality requirements are clearly communicated and met during the product development and manufacturing stages.

o   Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure that raw materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Regulatory Compliance & Standardization:

o   Ensure that all processes comply with relevant industry standards, including BIS, ISO, NABL, INKRR, and EN NCR, as well as customer-specific quality requirements.

o   Keep abreast of changes in regulations and ensure that all practices and documentation align with new or revised standards.

10. Gauge R&R (MSA) Execution

  • Plan and perform Gauge R&R studies (variable and attribute) to assess measurement system capability.
  • Identify sources of measurement variation including instrument error, operator inconsistency, and environment.
