Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).Typical job responsibilities for this position include: Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internallyLead and mentor QA team members on cross locations as wellDevelop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of testing process to deliver high-quality software.Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / deliveryDeploying and managing resources for testingApplying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing TeamDefining quality standards and metrics for the current project/product.Working with all stake holders to ensure that the quality metrics is reviewed, closed and agreed upon. Make the QA team aware of the Quality matrix and resolve all the queries.Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criteria to check the quality on timely basis.Work closely on the deadlines of the projectMotivating team for achieving continuous Improvement Job specific skillsJob specific skills Good experience and knowledge in functionalities and work model of Website and Apps along with UX / UI testingUnderstanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvementWorking proficiency in Jmeter and other performance measurement as well as developmental toolsets & Exposure to UI developmentStrong technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration management and code refactoring.Proven problem solving and analytical skillsDefining and monitoring productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics.Strong team building and people management skills are a must.Educational Qualifications The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering / technology or equivalent with relevant exp.
