QA Automation Engineer

Test Automation

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests using TypeScript for API and UI automation.
• Design and implement automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline the testing of web applications, APIs, and other software components.
• Identify and execute strategies to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.
  

Framework Development

• Design/Architect robust, scalable test frameworks utilizing TypeScript.
• Develop reusable testing components and libraries.
• Integrate automated testing frameworks with various testing and CI/CD tools.
  

Test Planning And Strategy

• Collaborate with QA teams and stakeholders to create detailed test plans, strategies, and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Analyze requirements to ensure adequate test coverage and prioritize testing activities accordingly.
  

Bug Tracking And Reporting

• Identify, document, track, and report software defects, and ensure timely resolution. Work collaboratively
• with development teams and stakeholders to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues effectively.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and implement preventative measures.
  

Documentation And Communication

• Maintain thorough documentation of test scripts, frameworks, and procedures.
• Document test plans, test cases, and results for knowledge sharing.
• Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and risks to cross-functional stakeholders.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in QA Automation and Framework Development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for API and UI test automation.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and principles.
• Experience developing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with SaaS products, e-commerce, and CRM domains.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.
  

Must-Have

• E-commerce domain expertise (eg, Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc).
• Experience with SaaS applications.
• Solid understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with REST API automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with End-to-End application integration (iPaaS, middleware, enterprise integrations).
  

Nice-to-Have

• Hands-on experience with UI Automation.
• Knowledge of systems such as Splunk, Snowflake.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience in system integration and performance testing.
• Familiarity with AI-driven test automation techniques.
