We’re on the lookout for a
QA Automation Engineer
to join our team. In this role, you’ll join a dynamic team that believes in pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo, and embracing diversity of thought. As we scale past 2M+ downloads, we’re building fast, building smart, and building with purpose—and we’re looking for someone who can lead that charge both technically and culturally.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement automated test scripts for a Flutter-based mobile app using tools like Flutter Test, Appium, or Detox, and for the TypeScript backend using tools like Jest.
- Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for both mobile front-end and TypeScript backend environments.
- Regularly review testing code of other developers and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage for UI, functionality, API, and performance.
- Create and maintain test data and environment configurations for different stages of development and production.
- Maintain traceability between requirements and automated tests, ensuring every feature is validated.
- Continuously improve test processes, tools, and coverage to increase release confidence and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in automated testing for consumer facing or mobile-first products.
- Expertise in writing and automating test cases for complex features as part of continuous delivery.
- Proven experience in automated testing frameworks for a Flutter-based mobile application with a TypeScript backend.
- Strong knowledge of Dart/JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automated tests.
- Hands-on experience debugging automation frameworks and app issues.
- Ability to design comprehensive test strategies, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Experience in API testing and automation (Postman, REST-Assured, or similar tools)
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
