QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automated test frameworks

  and test scripts using

  Python

  .
• Build and execute

  API automation tests

  .
• Develop and maintain

  UI automation

  for desktop applications.
• Automate backend validation and data-driven testing scenarios.
• Integrate automated tests into the

  CI/CD pipeline

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track resolutions through to closure.
• Work closely with developers and product owners to ensure test coverage and product quality.
• Continuously improve automation efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-6 years

  of hands-on experience in

  test automation

  .
• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  for writing robust, maintainable test scripts.
• Solid experience in

  API automation

  using tools/frameworks such as

  Postman, RestAssured (Python-based),

  PyTest

  .
• Experience in

  backend automation testing

  (databases).
• Hands-on experience in

  desktop UI automation

• Good understanding of

  software testing methodologies

  , including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  (Git) and

  CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
