Job Description: Senior Automation Test Engineer (VoIP/SIP) - Python Work Location- Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate Experience: 5 Years to 9 Years Work Mode: Work from office Job Description: Test/Automation Engineer About the Role: We are seeking experienced Test/Automation Engineers to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, working in a hybrid environment at a client location. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our network solutions through comprehensive testing and automation. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of Cisco networking, security protocols, and automation frameworks, particularly using Python. Responsibilities: Test Planning and Design: Design and define network topologies and test plans based on functional specifications, including routing and configuration requirements. Develop comprehensive test cases to validate network functionality and security. Network Testing: Conduct functional, integration, and performance testing of Cisco networking devices and solutions. Verify VLAN, NAT, TCP, UDP, ICMP, and routing protocol (e.g., OSPF, BGP) functionalities. Perform security testing, including IPsec, IKEv1, IKEv2, and firewall validation. Automation Development: Develop and automate test cases using Python and relevant frameworks. Automate traffic patterns using traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent, Aastha). Implement API automation using tools like Postman/Inspect for GET, PUT, and POST operations. Develop automation scripts for device configuration and verification. Traffic Generation and Analysis: Utilize traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent, Aastha) to simulate realistic network traffic. Analyze traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify potential issues. Automation of traffic generation. Security Testing: Test and validate security protocols such as IPsec, IKEv1, and IKEv2. Test and validate Firewall functionality. API Testing: Perform API testing using tools like Postman/Inspect. Automate API test cases. Python Development: Develop and maintain Python scripts for test automation. Utilize Python data types, file operations, classes, objects, and regular expressions. Implement automation frameworks using Python. Framework Utilization: Utilize existing automation frameworks and contribute to their development. Understanding of device/UI automation frameworks using python. Troubleshooting and Reporting: Identify and troubleshoot network and software issues. Document test results and provide detailed reports. Provide feedback for product improvement. Required Skills and Experience: 6-12 years of experience in network testing and automation. Strong understanding of Cisco networking concepts and technologies. Proficiency in VLAN, NAT, TCP, UDP, ICMP, and routing protocols (any one). Experience designing and defining network topologies and test plans. Hands-on experience with security protocols (IPsec, IKEv1, IKEv2, firewall). Experience using traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent, Aastha) and automating traffic patterns. Proficient in API testing using Postman/Inspect. Strong Python programming skills, including data types, file operations, classes, objects, and regular expressions. Experience with Python automation frameworks. Experience with testing controllers (Vmanage/DNAC) Experience with Platform Testing, Security, or Routing testing.
