Job Summary

Senior Python and PowerBI Developer

This position is opened to Pune, India location.

You will be part of the Data Analytics and Intelligence team, working as a developer within an Agile environment. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust data models, creating and scheduling ETL jobs, and automating processes using Python.

What you will do

• Python Scripting: Utilize Python for automation, data transformation, and integration with various systems and data platforms.
• Solid experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, and working with data processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.
• Data Modelling: Design and implement robust data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs.
• Actionable PowerBI Report:
• Design, build, and maintain actionable PowerBI report using SQL server, SSAS cube and other data sources.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Optimize Power BI performance through efficient data modeling and DAX queries.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, and apps for efficient report sharing and access control.
• Publish and maintain Power BI apps for business users, ensuring proper versioning and updates.
• SQL Server Expertise: Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• ETL Process Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL pipelines for seamless data integration from multiple sources into target systems.
• Data Analysis: Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure the integrity and consistency of the data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, and product managers) to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize performance of SQL queries and ETL processes for scalability and efficiency.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data professionals, helping to develop their technical and analytical skills.

We believe you have

• Experience: At least 8 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, with strong expertise in SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Python: Solid experience with Python for data manipulation, automation, and working with data processing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc.
• PowerBI: Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and workspace/app management.
• Database Management: Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization in SQL Server environments.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
