Job Summary: -

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage and streamline our raw material procurement process, The candidate should have hands-on experience in purchasing wood burrada (wood scrap/waste), and be capable of coordinating with local handicraft plants for sourcing vendors, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. 

Key Responsibilities:-

* Identify and procure wood burrada and other biomass materials required for production.

* Build and maintain relationships with handicraft manufacturers and vendors for regular supply.

* Conduct market research and vendor analysis to ensure cost-effective and quality sourcing.

* Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers.

* Ensure timely delivery of raw materials to meet production schedules.

* Maintain accurate purchase records, inventory logs, and supplier databases.

* Coordinate with the production and inventory teams for material planning.

* Resolve any supply chain issues or material shortages promptly.

* Monitor material quality and ensure it meets production standards.

Requirements:-

* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Minimum 2 years of experience in raw material procurement, preferably in the wood/biomass or manufacturing sector.

* Knowledge of wood burrada sourcing and local vendor ecosystem in/around Jodhpur.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

* Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP systems.

* Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

* Good knowledge of local wood/handicraft markets.

Preferred:-

• * Prior experience in the biofuel or biomass industry.
