Job description: Key Responsibilities: Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement. Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Collaborate with production, R&D, and quality departments to understand material requirements. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations. Maintain and update records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Resolve issues related to shipment delays, invoice discrepancies, or non-conforming goods. Stay up-to-date with market trends, pricing dynamics, and new sourcing opportunities. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related field (for Engineer role). MBA or specialization in Supply Chain / Materials Management is a plus (for Manager role). Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and negotiation. Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Show more Show less
