Full Job Description:

Job Title:Purchase Officer.

Location: Verna, Goa (Cipla Limited).

Role Summary: The Purchase Officer will manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, maintaining vendor relationships, optimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards to support smooth operations at the Verna, Goa site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and qualify vendors for raw materials, packaging, consumables, and services.
• Generate and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders using systems like SAP.
• Monitor order status and coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and user departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overages.
• Conduct supplier performance assessments and initiate corrective actions if needed.
• Ensure procurement documents are accurate, up to date, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and Legal for seamless procurement operations.
• Identify and act on cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timeline.
• Utilize procurement software, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools for efficient processing.
• Uphold safety, health, and environmental standards during procurement and materials handling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of procurement experience, ideally within pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient negotiation, communication, and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with SAP, procurement/inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks and Good Practices (e.g., GMP, GDP).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹220,656.00 - ₹450,784.00 per year
