Job Description

Job Opening: Purchase Officer

Industry: Industrial Automation
Location: Thripunithura, Kochi
Experience: 2–4 Years (Automation / Manufacturing preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end procurement of mechanical, electrical, and automation components.
Source vendors, obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
Coordinate with technical and project teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery to support project schedules and daily operations.
Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
Monitor inventory levels and support cost control initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate procurement records, MIS reports, and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience in automation, manufacturing, or engineering procurement preferred.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems.
