Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for domestic and international markets.
  • Source raw materials, components, and finished healthcare devices in alignment with company requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and long-term supply agreements with vendors.

Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
  • Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
  • Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, delivery, or pricing.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations, ISO standards, and import-export laws.
  • Manage international trade documentation (LC, customs clearance, import/export licenses, HS codes, etc.).
  • Coordinate with regulatory and quality teams for product certifications and approvals.

Cost & Process Optimization

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and currency fluctuations.
  • Implement best practices and digital procurement tools to improve efficiency.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams for seamless supply chain execution.
  • Support new product development with the timely procurement of prototypes and pilot materials.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient domestic and overseas shipments.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in medical devices, healthcare, or the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international sourcing, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
  • Proven negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA, CE marking, and other healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics) and MS Office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
