Industry Background:

Role Summary -

The Purchase Manager will lead all procurement functions across Ad Leo’s production, creative and execution departments. This includes sourcing vendors, negotiating rates, raising POs, coordinating deliveries and ensuring best cost-quality balance across all purchases print media, fabrication items, services and logistics.

Key Responsibilities -

·       Identify and evaluate vendors across printing, signage, fabrication, hardware, logistics, etc.

·       Solicit quotations, negotiate rates and finalize vendors based on job specs and urgency

·       Raise and track purchase orders, job cards and delivery instructions

·       Coordinate with accounts and dispatch teams for GRNs, bills and payment processing

·       Maintain approved vendor databases and track performance, pricing and quality

·       Source alternate suppliers for risk mitigation and cost benchmarking

·       Maintain communication logs with vendor commitments and follow-ups

·       Collaborate with factory, design, execution and project teams to plan purchase requirements

·       Conduct periodic market intelligence on pricing and trends

·       Implement purchase approval workflows and cost tracking

·       Ensure delivery SLAs are met with zero production delay due to sourcing gaps

Required Skills

·       Strong negotiation and documentation discipline

·       Understanding of print, branding, BTL material and vendor types

·       Proven ability to manage multiple requests and vendors simultaneously

·       Good with Excel, PO tracking, communication logs, and comparisons

·       Highly dependable and deadline-driven

Qualifications & Experience -

Graduate in Commerce / Operations / Supply Chain; MBA preferred. 5–8 years in purchase/procurement roles in advertising, events, production, or signage industries

Career Path -

• Can grow into Head of Procurement or Commercial Director (pan-India sourcing)
