Job Description

About the Role:
Bastar Dairy Farm is seeking a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities, ensure timely sourcing of materials, manage vendor relationships, and maintain cost-effective purchasing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage procurement of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and services
Develop and maintain vendor relationships and contracts
Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams
Ensure compliance with quality standards and budget requirements
Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement (dairy/FMCG preferred)
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Knowledge of ERP or procurement software is a plus
